Note. The technical quality of these clips results from the copies of the original recordings only being available in analogue format, well before digital HD formats were generally in use. As the focus of the analysis of the two clips is on editing decisions and techniques rather than the details of the image we hope that, despite the technical shortcomings of the clips, they are ‘fit (enough) for purpose’ to support the argument of the chapter.
