Advisory Board

The advisory board was made up of international and UK-based academics and practitioners in the fields of performance and heritage interpretation. In addition to the Steering Group members, the Board included:

Andrew Ashmore: Director, Andrew Ashmore & Associates (specialist heritage interpretation theatre company)

Joel Chalfen, doctoral student attached to the PLH project

Jane Dewey: National Maritime Museum (actor-interpretation programme) – until 2006

Dr Catherine Hughes: freelance museum theatre consultant (USA)

Dr Sally Mackey: Assistant Dean for Research at the Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London

Rowena Riley: Lifelong Learning Officer, Museums and Heritage Caerphilly CBC

Verity Walker: Director, Interpretaction (museum & heritage site consultancy)

Carran Waterfield: Actor, director, writer and teacher; founding director of Triangle Theatre Company, Coventry
